Nissan is pretty proud of their newest model. The NISMO version of the Nissan Z, from 2024, looks like it’ll be one of their fastest cars on the road. This may have something to do with the 420 horsepower as well as the 384 pound-feet of torque, while the Z NISMO comes across as the strongest of the modern-day Z cars. However, there is no indication of a manual for NISMO, while it still did return with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Plus, as promised, a track mode is included to handle shifts faster. All the improvements that are coming to the 2024 Nissan Z NISMO.

With this new model, there’s bigger brakes, comfier seats and even a limited-slip differential. In addition to redesigned body make overs and more adhesive rubber, the NISMO triumphs just pushes the ante onto the Nissan Z, as impressive as it may be, it’s not entirety just cosmetic changes.

With all the horsepower the NISMO can produce, the twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 engine utilizes a renwed wastegate, while also incorporating stronger cooling and better ignition timing, all based off of GT-R NISMO. The peak of torque for the Z NISMO hits anywhere from 2000 to 5200 rotations per minute. In addition, the engine uses a big oil cooler that will have you on track for even longer.

The Z NISMO comes with a purely automatic transmission, but there is talk that the clutch packs and engine management software make up for this by allowing for a Sport+ driving mode that can handle downshifts very easily, while the driver doesn’t even have to use shift paddles.

Of course, there’s also a huge 4-piston caliper, with 15.0-inch brake rotors up in the front and 13.8-inch rotors over in the behind, all while clamped together by a huge brake pad.
